1. Identify a potential site and begin negotiations for a possible outlet.
2. Send a letter of intent to the franchise director containing the following  information:
   • Applicant’s name, address and contact number/s
   • Expressed intent in a franchise
   • Proposed site and if possible, lease details and location map.
3. A letter of intent is available online.
4. Upon receipt of your letter of intent, Pick & Mix will pre-qualify your application and contact you for a one-on-one meeting to discuss further the application.
5. Award the franchise once the application has been approved.

1. What is Pick & Mix?
   
   Pick & Mix is the first candy specialty store in the country. It opened on February 1996 and introduced the idea of selling candies  by weight through a pick & mix basis.
   
   
2. When do I have to pay the franchise package cost?
   
   
• Upon signing of MOA- P30,000
• Upon signing of franchise contract- 50% of franchise package
• Upon turn-over of manuals-full payment
  
  
3. How long does it take to open a franchise outlet?
   
   The Pick & Mix franchise business development process takes 4 weeks. The activities include  site approval, background investigation, processing of application investigation, processing of application, construction of the  module & equipment, training, securing of permits and licenses, set-up & display and turnover of franchised unit.
   
   
4. How long can I recover my investment (ROI)?
   
   ROI depends highly on where one locates his outlet. Experience of franchised outlets reveal that average ROI is 6 to 12 months. Gross Margin is about 50% . Net profit is between 15-20%.
   
   
5. Who is responsible in the recruitment and training of personnel?
   
   The franchisor will be responsible in the recruitment and training of initial branch employees. The franchisee will be trained to recruit and train future personnel.
   
   
6. What products can be sold in the outlet?
   
   Only products supplied by the franchisor will be displayed and sold in the outlet. An issuance of post dated check of 7 days is required. Penalty is charged for delayed payments.
   
   
7. Do you offer wholesale?
   
   Yes, we offer wholesale of selected products only in areas where there are no franchised outlets. Otherwise, we give priority and protection to our franchisees.
   
   
8. What are the areas open for franchising?
   
   We are open for franchising in the following areas:
   Dagupan, Cabanatuan, Iloilo, Cebu, Davao, Legaspi, and other key cities in Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.


9. The 1% Marketing Fund will be used by the local franchisee store. The 2% Marketing Fund will go to the National Advertising Fund.
